'EastEnd Cabaret is like the mutant child of a Victorian circus, locked away in the Pet Shop Boys basement and forced to watch nothing but Eurovision.' (Theatreview NZ) Add a touch of smut into the equation, and you are almost there.

Discovered in a bedsit above a gin joint in East London, Bernie Dieter (A cross between Lady Gaga, Marlene Dietrich and Frank-N-Futer in sequins) and Victor Victoria (her one man/woman accompanist, and slightly stalky housemate) have seduced audiences all over the world with their riotous shows, which are packed full of risqué original songs, stage-shattering audience participation and 'jaw-achingly funny character comedy' (Backstage Pass).

These professional perverts have performed for sell-out audiences from Edinburgh Fringe to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, toured their show around Europe, created mayhem in cities all over Australia including the Famous Spiegeltent at the Melbourne Arts Centre, and have been in residence at the Wonderground on London’s Southbank. They have appeared on BBC3 and ABC2, shared stages with Amanda Palmer, Tim Minchin and The Tiger Lillies, and they have been seen many times disgracing themselves with a face full of bagel at 6am at the 24 hour bagel shop on brick lane.

'A high-powered ‘Flight of the Conchords’ dipped in acid and drenched in smut.' – Crikey (AU)

The award-winning double act have recently been named ‘Best Musical Variety Act’ at the 2015 London Cabaret Awards, and have received the ‘Best Cabaret’ award at Adelaide Fringe, as well as nominations for the Edinburgh TO&ST award from Soho Theatre, the Brighton Fringe prize and Perth Festival’s 'Best Show’. EastEnd Cabaret were also named one of the “most original and influential people working in the UK creative industries” as part of the Hospital Club 100, though Victy broke the award, so now there's no proof.

This globe-trotting, manbeast-riding, accordion-wielding, filth-mongering musical comedy duo show no signs of slowing down, unless the gin runs out.

'irresistible… definitely worth getting your face licked for' (The Guardian).
